Oh, Europe! It’s simple: in France, we speak French; in Germany, German; in Italy, Italian; in Portugal, Portuguese; and in Luxembourg, Luxembourgish … well, not only! The Transquinquennal collective from the Belgian capital brings together five actors who do not all speak the same language and calls into question multilingualism in Luxembourg. The public becomes the listener of a more or less official and joyfully unbridled colloquium devoted to linguistic insecurity. A show with playful and quirky humor, but also serious, which through the information given puts into perspective our prejudices – and even our convictions – on the subject.
