Since the dawn of humanity, there has been stupidity – so it’s time we talked about it. Stupidity has long had a bad reputation. These days, however, it seems to be a highly sought-after quality among politicians, celebrities and bosses. But let’s be honest: we all need a little craziness in our lives. Without a touch of genuine stupidity, there would be no love, no humour and no electric scooters. Glorious stupidity is the spice of life – so let’s celebrate it!

Why is stupidity good for your health? What are the most popular stupid things we do in relationships, family life, at work or in society? Is it better to be stupid or ugly – or both? How come everyone around us always seems to be stupid, while we never are? And why do you encounter the most idiots at roundabouts? Idiots Speak Up tackles all these questions in a show of fast-paced scenes and lightning-fast costume changes.

A comic supergroup of familiar faces from some of Slovenia’s most successful theatre productions, TV series and films – Jernej Kogovšek, Mario Ćulibrk, Goran Hrvačanin and Lucija Harum/Lara Fortuna – will conjure up an evening of genuine, utterly hilarious, gloriously unrestrained stupidity.
